Jockey Club Creative Hub

____

Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, the Jockey Club Creative Hub will serve as an integrated platform for research into Creative Media and Practice (film, graphics, literary, art, music and visual/media arts). It is one of the three research clusters set out in the University’s Strategic Plan 2018 – 2028 and focuses on an area in which HKBU excels.

The Hub will provide a sizable experimental space for immersive arts productions called the Jockey Club White Box Experimental Space. A scoring stage is designed to accommodate a full orchestra and choir, supported by post-production facilities, ideal for professional recording projects and performances. There will also be a variety of studios and classrooms that suit different research and teaching purposes.

In keeping with its commitment to serving the community, the Jockey Club Creative Hub is going to launch a series of unique programmes, for example, the Jockey Club Music Education Enhancement Programme, the Jockey Club Community Engagement Programmes in Music, the Jockey Club Creative Industries Collaborative Scheme, the Jockey Club Creative Arts Incubation Programme, and the Pre-College Music Academy.
